Commercial development is back on the table at what has affectionately become known as the "Trader Joe's" site located at the corner of Hobbs and Friendly Ave near the Friendly Center. According to the Triad Business Journal, Halpern Enterprises, an Atlanta-based firm, is eyeing the site for a 60,000 square foot development at the controversial location. The Greensboro real estate market continues to be a mixed bag with total number of homes sold increasing 2.7% over the second quarter of this year but down sharply by 7.9% from this time last year.
