It’s finally Spring and here are some family friendly events to enjoy this month in the Greensboro, High Point and Kernersville area!

First Friday
Friday, April 5th
Downtown Greensboro
First Friday is a FREE monthly self-guided walking tour that includes Downtown Greensboro’s eclectic shops, art galleries, studios, museums, and alternative art venues. Participating stops stay open from 6-9pm on the First Friday of every month with free arts programming to showcase local artists, musicians and various other artistic endeavors.

Fit Family 5K
Saturday, April 27th from 8:00am to 11:00am
William G. White, Jr. Family YMCA
The 2nd annual Fit Family 5K is for runners and walkers of all levels and ages. A one-mile fun run around Hanes Park, beginning at 8 a.m., is a flat course ideal for children of all ages. At 8:30 a.m. the 5K course begins near the William G. White Family YMCA. Proceeds benefit Girls on the Run and Forsyth Medical Center Foundation.
